I am a trained scientist in crystallization kinetics in silicate melts.
I use analytical microscopy and dynamic crystallization experiments to decipher the texture and composition of minerals in natural rocks, tracking dynamic processes operating in mid-oceanic, arc, hotspot and extraterrestrial magmas.
My competences extend from from lava sampling on active volcanoes to the establishment of petrogenetic models.
